Your knowledge, kept.

Memento is a personal knowledge system that maintains itself. Capture naturally from any device, and your own AI agent files everything into a durable, source-backed wiki of your life — one you can browse, edit, and ask anything.

Notes apps make you the librarian. Memento hires one for you.

Most knowledge tools reward the organizing, not the knowing — and quietly rot when you stop filing. Memento splits the work: you capture, it curates.

STEP 1

Capture without thinking

A thought, a link, a PDF, a photo of a whiteboard — drop it in from any device and move on. Capture takes seconds; nothing asks you where it should go.

STEP 2

Memento files it

In the background, your own AI agent reads each capture, distils the facts onto the right pages, links related knowledge, and keeps the original as a source. If something is genuinely ambiguous, it asks you one quick question — otherwise it stays out of the way.

STEP 3

Browse and ask

Your library grows into a clean, linked wiki — people, projects, decisions, plans. Open it anywhere, edit like a document, or just ask a question and get an answer built from your own knowledge, with sources.

CAPTURE

Drop it and go

Files, links, voice-of-thought notes — one capture box takes them all. PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, and web pages are read in the background and filed, pinging your inbox only when a quick answer is needed.

On your phone, share straight from any app into Memento — no copy-paste. Got a backlog? Bulk import files everything in one pass, no questions asked.

LIBRARY

A wiki that stays tidy

Your library organizes itself into the categories you choose — people, projects, decisions, plans, meetings, topics. Every page is a clean document you can edit directly; changes save as you type.

Select any text and tell the assistant what to do with it — tighten it, translate it, restructure it — and review the result as an accept-or-reject diff.

ASSISTANT

Ask your own library

“What did we decide about the ingest schema?” “When is the Sintra day trip?” The assistant answers from your pages and cites them, so you can verify instead of trust.

Read-only mode never changes anything. Edit mode can update pages for you — with the risky changes held for your review. Conversations sync across devices and pick up where you left off.

EVERYWHERE

Every device, even offline

Memento installs as an app on your phone and desktop. Your library is readable offline, and captures made without a connection queue up and sync when you're back.

Light and dark, phone and desktop — the same calm, paper-warm reading experience.

CONFIRMED INFERRED

An AI you can audit

A knowledge base is only useful if you can trust it. Memento is built so you never have to wonder what the AI did to your notes.

Confirmed vs. inferred

Facts you stated or captured are marked confirmed. Things the agent deduced are marked inferred — and never silently promoted. Conflicting sources are flagged as disputed instead of papered over.

Every claim has a receipt

Each capture is preserved unchanged as a read-only source page. Knowledge on your pages cites the source it came from, so you can always check where a "fact" originated.

Reviewable, reversible

The activity log shows exactly what the agent changed and why. Bigger changes wait in your inbox with a diff to review before you approve them; anything can be undone. Your whole library is version-controlled underneath.

Built for longevity, not lock-in

Persistent knowledge, disposable compute. Models will come and go; a library of your life shouldn't.

Your own agent

Memento runs on your own model credential — Claude, OpenAI, or almost any other provider — encrypted at rest and used only inside your private sandbox. The model is replaceable; your knowledge base is not.

Locked-down by default

Agent sandboxes have no network access unless you approve a destination. Each account is fully isolated, down to its own repository credentials.

Leave anytime, whole

Export your entire library at any moment: plain Markdown, your original files, and full edit history. No proprietary format, nothing held hostage.

Simple pricing

You already pay for Claude, ChatGPT or another provider — Memento runs on that. So you’re not paying us for the AI. You’re paying for the library it keeps: the vault, the filing, and the review step that makes it safe to let an agent write into your own memory.

What’s an agent run? One piece of work your agent does: filing a capture, an Edit-mode turn, an inline rewrite, or a routine firing. Asking questions is unlimited and never counts, and clearing a whole inbox counts once. The limit is a rolling 24 hours across all your spaces — the full definition is in the docs.

Both plans include every feature — Pro buys more spaces and more daily capacity, not an unlock. The trial runs 14 days: cancel any time before it ends and you’re not charged. You bring your own model account — Claude, OpenAI, or another provider — so model usage is billed by them, not by us.
